“Dana woke up clutching the top of a shoebox. She checked her phone to see how long she had been out this time. Almost 36 hours. Not too bad, but not great either. Over the last year, she periodically woke up to find that she’d lost two or three days at a time. Doubling up on her sleeping pills had a little bit to do with it. Not caring if she woke up or not probably didn’t help matters.”
