“Worth It”

 

She had refused to settle, time and time again.

She didn’t believe that she was “too good,” but she did know that she was worth it.

That ever-elusive “it” that she couldn’t quite describe, but couldn’t quite feel complete without.

She wanted the suddenness of it all, the excitement…the fear.

She needed the certainty of it…it had to prove itself sincere.

She needed to be consumed by it. Feel it tear through her body & settle into her soul.

The insanity of it…the desperation of it…that ever-elusive “it” that she just couldn’t quite describe…
